I started at WST in 2002 at the age of 16 as a mini-jobber. Back then, I never thought I would stay for over 22 years!
From 2007 to 2010, I trained as a cutting machine operator. Today I work as a tool grinder and produce special tools with my team under WST's own Durhino brand.
I started as a mini-jobber in our finishing department 12 years ago. It was the perfect opportunity for me as a student to get to know a large industrial company and earn money at the same time. At the time, I never thought that I would end up managing the department as deputy manager.
I have been part of the WST family for over 20 years now.
My journey began as a machine operator in the feed area and I have been working in the measuring room of this department for four years. I look forward to being a part of this great team until I retire.
I became part of the WST family in 2017.
At that time, I still lived in Rottweil and made the long journey to work as a machine operator at WST. After my maternity leave at the end of 2022, I am now working at WST again. It's great to be back and to be part of such a great team again.
In 2021, I was hired as a machine operator in the multi-spindle department.
Over time, I have been able to continuously expand my skills and have been working as a jumper since September last year. I was particularly taken with the 'Heike' - my first machine, which I still enjoy working on today. The family atmosphere at WST makes my workplace more than just a job for me.
My journey at WST began in 2016 when I started as a mini-jobber at our car wash. But things soon moved on: I joined the logistics team in 2018 and was part of the project to create the empties stations. Since 2020, I have been responsible for the correct inventory management in our lightweight warehouse.
Today, I know every load carrier by name and every corner of WST like the back of my hand!
